

Etihad Airways has celebrated in its 20th anniversary with a three-month art auction, symbolising two decades of dedication to redefining its commitment to connecting cultures. This initiative has showcased 20 rare works of art, each providing a unique glimpse into the UAE's past, present and future.
The collection has featured works by 20 globally acclaimed UAE-based artists, including Diaa Allam, Amrita Sethi, and Aysha Al Hemrani, boasting an impressive scope of mediums including painting, print, VR art, mixed media and much more. As it ranged from Sneak Hotep’s impressive 2-metre tall sculpture to Diaa Allam’s alluring contemporary calligraphy, the selected mediums showcased an interplay of tradition and innovation resulting in unique outputs.
Housed in Terminal A of Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport, this curated event has marked two decades of excellence by reflecting the intersection of art and history.




Each artist has been carefully selected by our team, ensuring a broad range of art styles and techniques was put together to best showcase the diversity of talent currently operating in the UAE.

One of the key components of the "United in Time" project was the artwork catalogue. Designed for both physical and digital fruition, the aim was to create a simultaneously complementary and independent asset to the collection, effectively a memorabilia storing its value and meaning over time.
